In 2010, the BA (Hons) Graphic Design year 3 group are going to the D&AD show so we are creating a group identity, this is one idea/concept we have thought of so far.

Mike Tierney Logo

Three posts in one day, call 999 because I am on fire WOOOOO. For a university project I got to design a identity for myself. I thought the logo I originally had subtracted attention from the name... and looked a bit like Optimus Prime, I also wanted it to be purely typographic.

MT Logo

This was a quick university project to design a personal identity, using my own name. I used my initials "MT" as my final logo.

Rebrand Logo

I began www.level87.co.uk on 7th December 2007 and I’ve had the same logo since then so I thought it’s about time I rebrand.

- Idea / Concept -

The whole idea for the new "Level87" logo is that I wanted it to project me as an individual and as a designer through this visual identity. The number "87" comes from the year I was born (1987). The circle symbolises the eternal changes in the design industry. It is an ongoing learning experience as the world develops technically, socially and creatively. The word "level" represents the skills (levels of knowledge) I have gained on a regular basis since I was introduced to graphic design in 2003.
