Ink Styles

I was experimenting with applying inks in different styles. Some when great, others not so good. But the main question is what have I learnt from this?... DON'T!! spray ink near your bed quilt... to look on the bright side though... half went on a stack of plain paper... Next Graffiti Pack... I THINK SO!!! :)

I is for IDA

For my final major project I have been looking at the work of Edward Lear and began to create his alphabet in different medias. I just stumbled across the work of Edward Gorey who created his own alphabet, but with disturbing undertones which I feel fits much better with this ink style I have been getting addicted to lately.

XIII Logo and CD Cover

http://www.myspace.com/musicbyxiii
This was a short competition brief where the band xiii (pronounced “Thirteen”) are releasing their first album and they asked for a new logo design as well. There are four band members and four characters in the roman numerals thirteen so I used each band members instrument to create there logo.

INK IT UP

Well... Photoshop is a lot cleaner I can say that for sure haha. This was a lot of fun but I think I went overkill on the whole thing, and I wrecked another V7 in the process, as you do... plenty more to come though WOOOOOO.
