This is a tribute to ‘Movember Mark’, who raised some serious cash for Movember... well some... I would have joined in but I can only dream of a 5 o’clock shadow, maybe next year. F.Y.I this sketch looks nothing like him haha... it’s not an insult Mark... I swear ;)

Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand. In 2007, events were launched in Ireland, Canada, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Edward Lear

For my final major project at the Hull School of Art & Design I am going to look at the work of Edward Lear, here is a quick sketch I drew, trying out some new fineliners and markers.

Edward Lear (12 May 1812 – 29 January 1888) was an English artist, illustrator, author, and poet, renowned today primarily for his literary nonsense, in poetry and prose, and especially his limericks, a form that he popularised.

Three posts in one day, call 999 because I am on fire WOOOOO. For a university project I got to design a identity for myself. I thought the logo I originally had subtracted attention from the name... and looked a bit like Optimus Prime, I also wanted it to be purely typographic.
